Description of Services:
Facilitates weight loss and maintenance support groups

Functions as a mutual support group and provides members with:
  • Support following a diet plan of choice (often prescribed by a doctor)
  • Weekly group meetings initiated by private individual weigh in
  • Information about healthy lifestyles, weight loss tips and food and exercise programs
  • Awards and recognition at an annual regional rally called Northern Recognition Rally (NRR) held in various locations over a weekend
  • Provincial and International rallies at Provincial Recognition Days (PRD) and International Recognition Days (IRD)
