Description of Services: Performs a variety of engineering and maintenance operations including:
  • Sanitary, storm sewer and water main break repairs, design, construction, rehabilitation and maintenance, including annual hydrant flushing
  • Inspections and minor repairs on bridges, roads and sidewalks
  • Maintenance of the Rosslyn Water Treatment Centre
  • Winter maintenance operations such as snow plowing and snow removal, as well as sanding and salting operations to provide for safe passage of vehicles and pedestrians
  • Summer maintenance such as dust control, roadside maintenance, grading and lane maintenance
  • Maintenance on road crossing culverts and driveway culverts
  • Responsibility for Municipal signs, entrance permits and fire numbers
