Description of Services:
  • Assists convalescents, seniors and individuals with disabilities to live independently in the community, through the provision of nourishing hot meals at a reasonable cost
  • Prepares meals according to individuals' diet requirements (includes soup, main plate and dessert)
  • Delivers meals through volunteers who provide regular social contact and check on the health and safety of the client

  • Fees: Service - Minimal fee per meal
    Eligibility - Population(s) Served:
    • Individuals 18 years of age and older with specific needs such as disability, illness or injury that require assistance


    • Seniors 65 years of age and older
    Application:
    • Completion of initial application required

    • Meals must be pre-ordered at least 48 hours in advance

    • Cancellation recommended and appreciated at least 12 hours in advance
