  • Provides education, programs and workshops to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent illness
  • Endeavors to improve working relationships between health care systems and Aboriginal communities
  • Provides education to raise awareness of health issues affecting Indigenous people
  • Ensures that Indigenous individuals understand the present health care system
  • Provides education in an effort to reduce violence within Indigenous communities
  • Health and Social Circle
    • Offers presentations on health related topics
    • Teaches various Indigenous craft-making workshops
    • Offers one-on-one support, as well as, group support for various health related issues
    Healthy Lifestyles
    • Promotes healthy eating, food preparation and storage, and budgeting for healthy food shopping
    • Addresses health in a cultural and holistic way with a focus on the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional needs of individuals
    • Provides information sessions on disease prevention
    Community Engagement
    • Partners with other community agencies to provide programming for the clients in order to bring people together
