Provides routine food premise inspections, including street food vending carts

Investigates all complaints against food premises and food related issues

Investigates food-borne illnesses and outbreaks

Carries out food recalls

Offers food handler training courses

Offers advice to new and renovated food premise operators and provides initial inspection

Issues Special Occasions Food Permits

Provides Food Safety educational resources including proper handwashing techniques
