Provides diagnostic and treatment services for individuals who have acute life-threatening injuries or severe illnesses
Sexual Assault and Partner Abuse Care Program
  • Provides initial emergency care only with the patient's informed consent
  • Provides follow-up services accessible through the Victim Treatment Centre (VTC) follow-up Nurse

Fees: None - Most services covered by OHIP
Eligibility - Population(s) Served:
  • Individuals in an emergency or life-threatening situation who require immediate medical attention

  • Must have a valid Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) card, or medical insurance information if an individual lives outside of Ontario
Application:
  • No referral required

  • Required to present valid Ontario Health Insurance card (OHIP) or applicable medical insurance information

  • Recommended to have list of all medications
