Description of Services: Diagnostic imaging department
  • Performs mammograms using digital mammography equipment for early detection of breast cancer
  • Performs breast biopsies as needed

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: No restrictions
Application:
  • Medical referral required from Family Physician or Nurse Practitioner

  • NOTE: For women aged 50-74 years who have never had breast cancer, implants or breast surgery, mammograms are booked through the Ontario Breast Screening Program, ph 807-684-7777 or toll-free 1-800-461-7031

  • All other women 40 years and older can call the Mammogram Booking Clerk
