Description of Services:	Functions as the governing office for the community; oversees all community programs, services and facilities Activities and services for community members also include but are not limited to the following: Child and Family Services worker on-reserve provided through Dilico Anishinabek Family Care, Armstrong office Hospital services available in Thunder Bay; Clinic services available in Armstrong located 70 km from community Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through OPP, Gull Bay Police Service Provides a combined Fire Station/Police Station Offers a community school which is temporarily closed but current Chief and Council working to have it reopen Organizes community events such as feasts at the Community Recreation Centre Publishes a monthly online community newsletter Hosts an Annual Pow Wow in August Offers an Education Department under the Nokiiwin Tribal Council; provides bus transportation for children up to Grade 8 who mostly attend Armstrong Public School Administers basic health care and health programs at the Gull Bay Health Clinic Operates a Community Food Market Gull Bay has a new water plant under construction, slated to be completed by the end of March, 2021; the $25-million project is to replace a water plant built about 20 years ago, that never properly functioned; plant completed in Feb 2022 Services and Programs: Extended Health Benefits Greens Incentive Program Ontario Works Operations and Maintenance Volunteer Fire Department Gull Bay Health Clinic
