Description of Services: Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements
  • Provides transportation to health programs within the community
  • Provides transportation from/to Red Rock Indian Band to any medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist etc) in Nipigon and Thunder Bay
  • Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Members of Red Rock Indian Band who require assistance with medical transportation due to illness, injury, age or not having a vehicle
Application:
  • Requires written proof of medical appointment

  • Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies

  • Advance cancellation recommended
