Description of Services:
  • Helps families deal with children who have been identified or are suspected to have been involved in starting fires known as fire-play
  • Performs an assessment of the child to determine why the child is starting fires
  • Provides referrals to other professionals if necessary
  • Educates the family on family escape planning, reducing home hazards, understanding the destructive potential of fire
  • Advises the child's family on safety tips and what to watch for in their child's behaviour
