Description of Services: Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements
  • Provides transportation to any medical appointments within the community
  • Provides transportation from/to Ojibways of Onigaming community to any medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist etc) in the city of Kenora and surrounding area
  • Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Members of Ojibways of Onigaming First Nation who require assistance with medical transportation due to illness, injury or age
Application:
  • Requires written proof of medical appointment

  • Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies

  • Advance cancellation recommended
