  • Oversees the operations and maintenance of community infrastructure and related services
  • Maintains a public works garage
  • Performs a variety of tasks and maintenance operations including:
    • Road maintenance
    • Landscaping and community beautification
    • Street lighting
    • Maintenance of equipment and operation of the water treatment and sewage treatment plants; completed a major upgrade to Water Treatment Plant in Sep 2019 to allow the system to be in compliance with federal and provincial regulations
    • Repairs and upkeep of community buildings and residential homes
    • Snow removal
    • Upkeep of public spaces and grounds
    • Garbage collection and maintenance of on-reserve landfill site
    Capital Planning
    • Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
