Description of Services:
  • Operates under the Ontario Mental Health Demonstration Project/Telemental Health Initiative
  • Partners with Providence Care Centre (PCC) in Kingston to provide clinical services to Métis citizens and families as well as increase access to mental health professionals
  • Provides the following services and programs for individuals and families dealing with mental health/addictions issues:
    • Screening and assessments
    • Intake
    • Early intervention
    • Referrals
    • Case management
    • Aftercare support using contemporary and traditional therapeutic interventions such as healing circles and individual/group counselling
    • Mental wellness promotion and peer support
