Description of Services: Provides supportive housing to men and women over the age of 18 who are at risk of becoming homeless, or who are already unhoused and who wish to take their first steps toward independence
  • Offers short-term/transitional housing, including 24-hour staff support
  • 21-bed housing unit; each unit contains a bed, desk, fridge, closet and shared spaces for food, lounge etc
  • Participants:
    • Adults who want to focus on training and wellness
    • Adults seeking life skills, schooling and or training opportunities
    • Those experiencing homelessness who want to take steps to gain new life skills
    • Those travelling from home communities to seek schooling or training

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Men and women who are Matawa community members (preferred), 18 years of age and older, with no stable housing (including people on the rent-geared-to-income waitlist or are an Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program recipient)
Application: Contact to complete an intake form - walk-ins are not accepted at secure building
