Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through Nishnawbe-Aski Police Services; additional Police services through OPP NW Region in Geraldton
Provides a family-operated store which also houses a Canada Post postal station
Additional shopping and services such as a Northern Store, gas bar, restaurant, arena and church available in Nakina located 15 minutes from the community
Provides Aroland FN businesses, O'Sullivan Lake Gas Bar and Towedo Buslines, both located in Nakina
Offers recreational facilities including an outdoor hockey rink, school playground, community hall with playground, Pow Wow grounds and a sports field
Serviced for medical emergency response/ambulance services by the township of Nakina
Administers Johnny Therriault Memorial School and education services through the Aroland Education Authority
Provides a Volunteer Fire Department
Coordinates health programs and limited health care services at the Aroland Health Centre
