Provides education, information and services to reduce incidence, spread and complications of infectious diseases
Administers the following programs and services:
- Infectious Diseases
- Harm Reduction Program
- Sexual Health
- Vaccine Preventable Diseases
Cancer Detection- Hosts educational sessions on breast health, cervical cancer and prostate and testicular cancer
- Promotes early detection of cancer
Partners with the following programs:
- Ontario Breast Screening Program, Northwest Region
- Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP)
- Ontario Cervical Screening Program
- Rainy River District Breast Health Network
- Ontario Breast Screening Advisory Committee
