Description of Services:
Supports Indigenous women and their families living with pre-diabetes or diabetes
  • Offers a wide range of community-based, culturally appropriate activities and services that are focused on education and prevention of diabetes
  • Offers education and self-management support to fit an individual's lifestyle
Services include:
  • Basic foot care information sessions
  • Educational activities and workshops on different topics, such as healthy eating, self care, cooking, and foot care
  • Information about traditional foods
  • Information sessions on gestational diabetes
