Description of Services:
Oversees the operations and maintenance of municipal infrastructure and related services
Roads and Transportation
  • Maintains and repairs local roads, curbs, sidewalks and ditches
  • Responsible for snow removal, sanding and salting roadways and sidewalks
  • Responsible for street lighting and traffic signals
Sewer and Wastewater
  • Provides and maintains sewer and wastewater services
Waste Management (Landfill)
  • Responsible for residential and commercial waste collection
  • Posts waste collection schedule online
  • Operates a landfill site; tipping fees apply
  • Disposal of electronics available at no charge at public works yard
Ontario Tire Stewardship (OTS) Program
  • Accepts used tires at the Waste Disposal Site (Landfill)
