Eligibility / Target Population

Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO): Free dental care for children and youth aged 0-17 from eligible households.

Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program (OSDCP): Free dental care for low-income seniors 65 years and older

Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP): Dental coverage for Canadians of any age: Ontario Works (OW),

Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), and Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB)

Active recipients are eligible for publicly funded dental services.

Description of Services:

Provides free or publicly funded dental care for eligible children, adults, and seniors through community dental clinics and mobile dental offices.
Services include:

Dental exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
Basic treatment such as fillings and extractions
Emergency care to relieve pain or infection
Oral health education and prevention
School dental screening programs
Assistance in determining eligibility for publicly funded dental programs
Help complete applications and find a participating dentist if needed
