Description of Services:
Provides information, education and support relating to healthy growth and development
Provides breastfeeding and infant feeding information and workshops
Works with various community partners, committees and coalitions addressing child health topics
Public health nurses can provide information on topics including:
Preconception health
Healthy pregnancies
Breastfeeding, infant feeding and healthy eating
Sleep
Home safety
Healthy growth and development
Parent-child relationships
Parental health and well-being
Help with establishing and practicing routines
Advise to support independence with potty-training, dressing and other skills
Home visiting services
