Description of Services:
Promotes increased participation in sport, physical fitness and recreation, and other programs that encourage healthy lifestyles
Offers individual and group information sessions on fitness and nutrition topics
Assists individuals in creating a personalized fitness program and provides supervision while participant performs the program
Offers specialized fitness and nutrition programs for:
Children
Youth
Women
Seniors and disabled adults
Healthy Eating, Healthy Weight
Offers a weight management program
Provides encouragement and health information to support individual in achieving wellness goals
Smoke Free Living/Smoking Cessation
Provides education and resources about initiatives to quit smoking
Offers a support group including mentors who have gone through the process of smoking cessation
Youth Leadership
Provides workshops to teach youth leadership skill development
Addresses topics including conflict management, decision making, goal setting, teamwork, time management and developing and presenting workshops
